Common questions

What happens when I hit the credit cap?

The API returns a 402 response for any request that would cost credits. Your cameras keep sending snapshots and motion-gating works normally — you just can’t trigger AI analysis until credits reset on your next monthly cycle. You can also upgrade your plan at any time to get more credits immediately.

Can I change cadence on a Free plan?

Yes. All cadence and mode settings are configurable on every plan — Free included. The only difference between plans is how many credits and how much storage you have. Quotas apply uniformly; there are no mode locks or feature gates.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Condor Vision is browser-first — open the dashboard, grant camera permission, and you’re live. The edge agent is an optional advanced component for IP cameras (RTSP streams) and headless setups, but it’s not needed for typical browser or webcam use.

What counts as a “Pro AI” call?

Pro AI uses Gemini’s deep reasoning mode instead of the standard Flash model. It costs 8 credits (or 50 with Google Search grounding). Use it for complex queries like “find products similar to what’s on that shelf” or multi-step visual reasoning. Simple Q&A and condition watches always use Flash (1 credit).

What exactly is stored?

Individual snapshots (typically ~150 KB each at 1280×720). Condor Vision is not a DVR — we store periodic snapshots, not continuous video. Your retention window controls how long snapshots are kept before automatic deletion.

Can I use multiple plans across cameras?

Each account has one plan. All cameras on the account share the plan’s credit pool and storage cap. If you need isolated quotas per camera or team-level billing, contact us about enterprise options.

How do I cancel?

Cancel anytime from the dashboard via Manage billing (Stripe Customer Portal). Access continues until the end of the current billing period; no further charges will be made.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on first-time paid subscriptions. After that period, no refunds are issued for partial months. Email support@condorbox.ai for assistance.

What happens if I switch plans mid-month?

Stripe prorates automatically. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge for the remaining period. Downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period; no refund is issued for unused days.

Do prices include VAT?

EU customers will see VAT applied automatically at checkout based on your billing address. Stripe Tax calculates and collects the correct rate for your region. Your final price is shown before you confirm payment.
